The application of pesticides in the agricultural sector represents multiple benefits such as pest and disease control, however, their entails risks to environment health people, which can be accidental or due improper handling. Therefore, this work focuses on qualitative determination ecotoxicology used by seasonal farmers Municipality Valle de Santiago. Information most commonly study area was collected through surveys producers main points sale for agrochemicals. registry commercial products with Federal Commission Protection against Sanitary Risks Mexico consulted verify active ingredient its registered use. environmental impact estimated based a matrix determine total ecotoxicology. use 19 products, six are insecticides, 12 herbicides, one fungicide. estimation ingredients contained shows that highest value is possessed insecticides lesser extent herbicides.
